Soon Koh: Anwar daydreaming again

KUCHING: Second Minister of Finance Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh has advised PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim not to “count the chickens before the eggs are hatched”.

He said Anwar’s statement that Pakatan Rakyat would end BN’s five decade-rule in the next general election reminded him of Anwar’s claim about a change of government not long after the 12th general election.

Wong, who is Minister of Local Government and Community Development, said this when met after receiving a courtesy call by Kuching Foochow Association office-bearers at his office in Masja building yesterday.

“Do not count the chickens before the eggs are hatched. Anwar is only daydreaming,” said Wong when approached by reporters yesterday after he received a courtesy call by office-bearers of Kuching Foochow Association.

Wong, who is also Minister of Local Government and Community Development, said he was confident the BN would continue to rule under Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

“I am confident that BN will still continue to be in power after the 13th general election,” he said.
